How to Style Faux Fur

You know blogger life is not at all easy as it looks like especially when you have only weekend for photoshoots. My hubby does photoshoots only on weekends because rest of time he is busy. Another important factor which affect my blog work is weather. That’s because there are not much indoor photoshoot locations here and I have almost covered every one of them. Other than that, we do website maintenance work as well on weekends. Anyway, for today’s post I decided to create two different looks to explain how to style faux fur. I have used just one faux fur jacket to create a party wear look and a casual look.

For the first look, I paired this fur coat with a dress which was pretty tricky. But I decided to do something outside my comfort zone and try a different look with faux fur and dress. There’s something about fur that adds a bit of luxe to every outfit and this coat is definitely no exception. It’s big, warm, snugly and perfect for a chilly day. Created a perfect party look with wine velvet dress which is from kinikiss. Then I added a fishnet with boots. Finally, I added a faux fur coat.

For another look I wore this cute faux fur coat with a black top and white distressed denim jeans. I added a peep toe bootie for a chic look. Jacket feature include a two-tone faux fur, short sleeves, side pockets followed by an open front. Since it’s a little oversized, it allowed me to do a ton of layers underneath. The trick of layering is to start with the most form-fitting piece first.
